Current IES Buy customers have the ability to create an online account. First, you will need to know your account number with us. To register for an account visit the " REGISTER " link in the upper-right corner of the website. You will then need to select the first radio button that indicates, "CURRENT CUSTOMER REGISTRATION" and fill out the form presented.

If you do not already have an established account with Independent Electric Supply, you will need to open an account to register with us. To do so, visit the "Register" link in the upper-right corner of the website. You will then need to select the second radio button that indicates, "NEW COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT." Please fill in the required information and accept our terms and conditions. There will be a "Download the Credit Application" link at the bottom of this form. To apply for credit, please download, complete, sign and return our credit application to [email protected] . You will then be contacted by one of our credit representatives for further information and confirmation.

To reset your login password, click the "Login" link in the upper-right corner of the website. Under the login information, you will find a "forgot your password" button. Click this button. You will be prompted to provide your username and email address. Once you have entered your information, click the "Get New Password" button. An email will be sent to you containing a link to our reset password page. From here, you will create a new login password for your IES Buy account.


Yes. Hover over the "My Account" link on the top right of the website screen. This drop-down list presents the option "Request for Quote." In addition, you will be able to dictate what date you will need the quote by.

Your account stores all of your purchases under your order history portal. To access this, hover over the “My Account” drop-down link on the top right of the website screen. Click “Order History.” On this page, there will be a “Re-Order” button that will instantly allow you to create a shopping cart of items you have already purchased. This page will also allow you to download your complete order history for your reference.

We understand you might not want everyone you work with seeing all of the account information provided. Under the “My Account” drop-down link you will find options to add, manage, and delete purchasing agents. The “Manage Purchasing Agent” option is where the user is able to set roles, edit the users, or disable accounts.

Independent Electric Supply represents well over 1 Million SKU’s, but not all of them are available on our online catalog. Sometimes, an item you need will not be available to view but it will be available by calling our Inside Sales representatives.
