Type A: "Plug and Play"

Type A Linear Tubes work best in any high ceiling locations in a home, factory/warehouse, school, shopping center, hotel, church, restaurant, car dealership, or for any general retrofit installation. Type A offers an easy-install project that all businesses and homeowners can appreciate!

Type A LED tubes are ballast compatible. Have an existing ballast? The Type A Linear tube can use it and function as a traditional lamp which saves time on installation. Electricians have nicknamed these Type A tubes "plug and play" or "lamp for lamp". Take advantage of the control, safety, and convenience these tubes provide.

Type B: "Ballast Bypass"

Install Type B Linear Tubes where compatibility is a concern. During installation, the electrician is able to bypass the ballast and connect directly to the line voltage for a more efficient process. In return, this can decrease maintenance costs related to ballast replacements. These linear tubes are typically less expensive for the customer, but require professional installation due to the exposure of the line voltage.

Type C: "External Driver" / "True LED System"

Type C linear tubes are ideal for locations that prefer a more elevated control of light such as kitchens, bedrooms, basements, restaurants, show rooms, furniture stores, retail stores, and movie theaters. This linear tube requires the purchase of an external driver to take the place of the existing ballast, but in exchange for that you gain 0-10V dimming control functionality. These bulbs are also suitable for Title 24 installations because of their reduced energy consumption.

Electricians have nicknamed these the "true LED system" among the 3 replacement tubes. Their low optical flicker provides improved experiences for homeowners and businesses. They offer the longest LED life and high energy efficiency/minimal driver loss. In return, upgrading to the Type C Liner tubes will save the owner money.
