The Fan Master Support Box allows you to safely attach a lighting fixture or ceiling fan to a building's structural support, so the ceiling fan is supported by the joist, not the box. Perfect for new construction, the Fan Master can be used in applications where duct work or wiring is present. The Fan Master's design provides additional wiring space on only one side of the box, so you can mount it to either side of a ceiling joist without having to split the wiring. The Fan Master is UL listed for fixture support of 150 lb or less and fan support of 70 lb or less and has a two-hour fire rating.
