Air terminals, also known as strike termination devices, are offered in a range of base materials and surface platings. Terminals are provided with UNC threading to facilitate a minimum of 5 full threads of engagement. A full range of code compliant terminals are offered as well as copper-bonded steel air terminals for special applications. nVent ERICO® copper-bonded steel air terminals are designed to be installed directly to structural steel in locations such as communication towers. A 4-1/2 in threaded end with hardware is used to secure the terminal to a horizontal location where a continuous structure provides the path to ground.
