GE THJK426200LL

The J600 product line consists of thermal magnetic circuit breakers, magnetic circuit breakers and molded case switches rated up to 600 A and 600 VAC. These breakers are available with either non-interchangeable trips (designated Type TJJ) or interchangeable trips (designated types TJK/THJK). Type TJJ devices ship fully assembled while types TJK/THJK ship unassembled unless specified on the order. TJK breakers are available in two frames, 400 A frame (125 to 400 A) and 600 A frame (250 to 600 A). Trip units are not interchangeable between frames. The WL catalog number suffix indicates that the devices come with Cu/Al line and load lugs. The LL catalog number suffix indicates no lugs.

  • Molded case is molded from high mechanical and high dielectric strength engineered plastic
  • Trip indication is shown by handle position midway between ON and OFF, to reset the trip mechanism, move the handle to extreme OFF, then to ON position
  • Quick make, quick break, trip free mechanism minimizes arcing during breaker operation, contacts cannot be ''teased'' into position
  • Trip free mechanism is independent of manual handle control, the breaker trips under short circuit or overload, even though the operating handle is held in ON position
  • VERIFIER™ "Twist-to-Trip" and ''Push-to-Trip'' mechanically simulates over current tripping through actuation of linkages not operated by the ON/OFF handle
  • Common trip bar assures instant disconnect of all conductors when an overload or short circuit occurs on any one conductor in the circuit or an accessory trip device operates
  • Silver alloy contacts combine the conductive properties of silver with other elements for clean, positive electrical contacting, pitting and burning are minimized for longer contact life
  • Arc chutes of heat absorbing, insulating material and metal grid plates quickly ''extinguish'' arcs
  • UL Listed lugs for copper or aluminum cable, at full frame rating, easy access and simple, straight-in wiring
  • Without lug
  • 25 kA at 600 VAC, 35 kA at 277 VAC, 35 kA at 480 VAC, 40 kA at 125 VDC, 40 kA at 250 VDC, 65 kA at 120 VAC, 65 kA at 120/240 VAC, 65 kA at 240 VAC interrupt rating
