Leviton® isolated ground receptacles are easily identified by an orange triangle or a contrasting color ON the face of the device per UL 498. This permanent symbol ON the face or an orange face of any Leviton® receptacle means that the ground path is electrically isolated from the strap, wallplate screws and all other components of the device. This design ensures a pure or isolated ground path from the grounding contacts to the green ground screw. When a dedicated grounding conductor is connected to the green ground screw the isolated system is complete.
