The Sure-Lites® fluorescent EBP enables a fluorescent fixture to satisfy emergency path of egress code requirements through battery operation during a power interruption - providing a flexible and reliable solution that is easy to install. When AC power fails, the Sure-Lites® EBP automatically switches to emergency mode, providing illumination for at least 90 min. The maintenance free long life nickel cadmium battery generates up to 1400 lumens in emergency mode depending on model. The single wire, multi voltage input ( 120/240/277 VAC ) reduces installation time and maximizes flexibility while the sinusoidal AC output increases lamp life as compared to pulse DC designs. The EBP Series is UL924 listed for field retrofit installation can be used as emergency backup for most linear fluorescent lamps and carries a 5 year limited warranty.
