The 3M™ cold shrink splicing products are designed using the proprietary cold shrink delivery system developed by 3M™. Products are supplied prestretched on a removable core for efficiency and ease of installation. 3M™ cold shrink splices 5740 series are used for single conductor, non-shielded 5/8 kV cables. Each kit is a cold shrink design and contains enough material to insulate three splices. connectors are not included and must be ordered separately.
